The RPOC received the 2023 Rayburn Kaufman Memorial Most Original Float Award from our entry in the 2023 Appleton Flag Day Parade. Our float featured one of, if not the, largest American Flag in the parade. Situated atop a flatbed trailer, our very own Mike Thomas dressed as the one and only Uncle Sam waved to parade goers along the parade route. The award was received at a recent City Council meeting and was received by Richard Hoffman on behalf of the party. Richard has dedicated his time and energy every year to put together the float for the parade. Thank You Richard for all that you have done!
